First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1)First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Charley is funny!! Like really roll your eyes funny. I was smiling the whole book. I was a little afraid that we were getting a love triangle but at least at the end of this book we just had one alpha male ( or whatever he is ). I hope it doesn't turn out into that because I really like Garrett. He was funny Ha Ha also. I'm looking forward to book number two!

Spell of the Highlander (Highlander, #7)Spell of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I keep wishing I had read this series BEFORE I read the Fever series. There is alot of background information here. I still do not like the writing style in this series as much as I love the Fever series but it is still great. I can never understand how an author can do that. Write in such different ways for their different series. AMAZING. Anyways we learn more about Queen Aoibheal and we see how she is setting things up for FEVER. Not so crazy about these girls in these Highlander books. They all seem so shallow for some reason. I guess I want to see the same grit Mac is made of.  Sidenote- Jessi has short black hair or so we keep reading so who is this girl in the cover??

Re-reading Shadowfever...awww....Barrons!!  I cannot believe all the information I miss the first time I read (devour) a book I have been dying for.  I miss half the stuff.  I totally had not gotten the whole Barrons walking out with the woman in the silvers.  I thought that question had not been answered and there was the explanation for it but since I decided I had to read this book all in one sitting, even if I was starving and half asleep, no wonder I missed half the good stuff.  I'm to the part where they are all in the chamber at the Abbey and are putting the book "down"  remember???  Oh it was a fantastic book...I'm excited all over again even though I already know the outcome.

Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3)Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We no longer have the "chase" in this book since Fifty and Ana are now married. Their love is still very HOT and they are adjusting to married life. Their funny funny emails are still in this book. Fifty still makes me want to kill him and hug him all at the same time. I get the impression that Ana has come onto her own it seems all the men she meets think she is beautiful which is great because next to Fifty she needs to have something of her own! I wish the bank scene would have been a little longer to really make us fidget and worry I felt it all happened way to fast. The things he does for Ana in such detail just shows how much he loves her. He has come a LONG way and it is wonderful to see him finally open up to her. As much as I love them I hope this is the end because James gives such a nice closure to the story that I would be nervous that another book would take us in a different direction (well maybe a WHOLE book in his pov). All in all I felt it was a fantastic read, thank you for giving us Fifty Ms. James!!

The Scorpio RacesThe Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved, loved this book it was such a great well written story. I was drawn in from the first page. I had intended to just start it last night but I went on a reading marathon I could not imagine going to sleep and not knowing the outcome. The ending is not as firm of a closure as I would have liked but the author gives you an idea of what is to come. I would also have liked to know what tormented Gabe into wanting to leave the island. I'm not sure if there will be another book and maybe thats why we didn't get more of a closure on these things.
I was only going to look into it a little before I started Fifty and then I could NOT put it down!!  Sorry Fifty we are on for today!

Obsidian (Lux, #1)Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Too many reminders of Twilight. New girl moves to town she is more beautiful than she thinks. Neighbor starts a love/hate relationship with her. Of course he is gorgeous and he is OTHER. AND he has a sister which of course is her new bff.  She begins to figure out something is different with them until he has to tell her. Then he debates from protecting his family to protecting her...etc..etc.. she seemed very juvenile in her responses. He could be downright mean and rude to her but yet she was still super excited to see him. Like wow he totally likes me!!! or not. I want a heroine with a back bone who CAN turn away from the hot gorgeous hard ab guy and make him suffer for hurting her.  Where are THOSE girls???   it had great sexual tension but that was about it.
